Transparency report - Independent Financial Audit
A financial audit of a company that carries out activities of public interest is an important tool for assessing the health of that company. The financial audit is an examination and analysis of a company's financial records (typically including financial statements and accompanying reports) to ascertain the reliability of the records and provide an opinion as to whether the financial statements are presented fairly, in all material respects, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
The main goal of the Independent Financial Audit Law is to establish the principle of transparency and accountability in audits of financial statements and to establish that an audit should be conducted by a registered auditor.Financial audits are conducted by independent public accountants who audit the company's financial records and provide an objective and impartial report to a company's board of directors and shareholders.
In accordance with the requirements of Art. 62 (1) of the Independent Financial Audit Law, a registered auditor conducting an independent financial audit of a company carrying out activities of public interest, must annually publish on his website a Transparency report.
The transparency report must be signed by the natural person registered auditor, respectively, by the persons managing the audit firm. It must be made public annually until 30 April and be available on registered auditor’s website for at least 5 years from the day of its publication.
